Fulcrum, the UK's trusted utility services partner, has been presented with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ (RoSPA) top award for safety for a second year.
Fulcrum retained the RoSPA President’s Award for a second term after earning a RoSPA Gold award for safety for the 11th consecutive year. The Awards were presented at a special RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards ceremony at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham.
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board. Organisations such as Fulcrum, that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to and we offer them our congratulations.”
Collecting the award, Fulcrum Health, Safety & Environmental Support Manager Yohan De Silva commented: “Our track record and approach to maintaining and promoting the highest standards on every site we work on is well-recognised and immensely valued by clients, contractors and staff.”
Dating back 57 years, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. The scheme not only looks at accident records, but also entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
